Remember

Tuesday. Some trouble getting to sleep last night. Maybe shouldn't have had that cup of coffee at five-thirty with the light dinner in San Francisco, but then awakened early at five-thirty. Did I get enough sleep? I'd been fairly wasted yesterday in the late morning, feel pretty good right now at roughly the same time.

Out the door under mixed skies, the temperature good, they're saying into the seventies later and so arrived before seven to find the restaurant open and their day well underway.

The avocado omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up the papers by a quarter to nine, noting the four cent drop in gas prices, more because it's now a long running habit than anything other, back to snap another flower picture, another bicyclist waiting on the light under the 580 overpass and a young man activating a scooter by the lake. Another day, in other words. An odd ball selfie in the lobby and now to finish yesterday's entry (I'd not done much yesterday with the tiredness business and then the Alcatraz trip) and post it by eleven.

Nothing on the schedule, maybe expand a little more on yesterday's successful trip to an island prison.

Later. A tablet and television afternoon, processing the Alcatraz pictures and not much else. A bit fried, but not to the extent of recent days. I don't think.

Evening. Nothing on television and so to bed after eight. I did get some things done, the pictures mainly, but otherwise pretty much a blur as I sit here trying to remember exactly what happened. No complaints, though. We'll save those for those things, good or bad, that we're able to remember.

The photo up top was taken Monday on Alcatraz island with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
