After

Thursday. Got to sleep early and awakened just after six to get up slowly, but feeling reasonably human and so a drive to breakfast to arrive at ten minutes to seven and find the restaurant open. So good. So far. Probably could have walked, but no sense in gambling. We'll test the walking business later today. Maybe.

The single pork chop, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast. I haven't been hungry these last couple of days, haven't eaten all that much, wasn't hungry this morning, but a couple of pounds under the target on the scale this morning and I figured maybe best to put something in the stomach.

Did you really go through all that so you could justify the pork chop?

Oh, briefly. Just odd to not be hungry, even when I haven't been eating much for a while.

Finished up by eight-thirty and set out for the car, the camera I'd brought told me the batteries were low and wouldn't take a picture. A first for that. I do check the battery levels regularly and the two batteries in this particular camera weren't all that low, so maybe there's something happening there. We'll know soon enough.

So, the day ahead, the skies looking relatively clear.

Later. A walk to the construction site just up my block to take another picture. Well, at least it got me outside.

Evening. Watched the two hour Democratic debate. An awkward format with ten debaters, but more interesting than yesterday's perhaps for the back and forths. Another short, but sharp reminder that we live in “interesting times”. To bed soon after.

The photo up top was taken of the Dykes on Bikes contingent at the 2018 San Francisco Gay Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
