Sleep
Friday. To bed early to get an uneven night's sleep, but awakening at six to get up, get ready and finally decide to walk rather than drive to breakfast. Once I'd left the building, walking was clearly the better choice. Still a little woozy from whatever it was I had, but an easy walk to arrive before seven and find the restaurant open, albeit a little warm inside.
The avocado omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up by eight-thirty and walking home under a fairly bright sun, by another cyclist waiting at the 580 Overpass light and taking a couple of pictures of what they'd done with removing the ivy along the sidewalk where they're either putting in electric or water lines. I think.
Home to take the usual selfie and then crash for half an hour before settling down with yesterday's entry. Not physically tired, but still feeling the effects of “whatever it was”, the lungs a bit congested (that started almost a week ago) and so we're not yet ready for prime time.
Later. Still the somewhat congested lungs, still running on batteries, no thought to take a walk, no thought to do much other than watch some television, to include some of the soccer match between the U.S. and France, watch a Korean series on the tablet and remember to eat at least something, as we're not hungry for anything other than possibly ice cream. That, of course, would take a walk to the 7-11 look-alike and that doesn't appear to be in the cards. We're barely functional just writing this.
Boo-hoo!
Yeah, but it's true.
Evening. Nothing on television and so crashed with the tablet with lights out by eight, wheezing my way to sleep.
