Monday. To bed early, lights out at the usual time around ten to awaken then just before six. OK, not all that bad, listened to Democracy Now! and then the KPFA news before getting up at seven twenty-five to walk to breakfast under sunny clear skies, the temperature good, arriving again at ten minutes to eight. Entered the closed off dining area, turned on the lights and settled in with the papers.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit up and coffee again, another diner entering later to have breakfast at a table some twenty feet behind me. Well, twenty feet, I'm not supposed to be there either, can't complain. Finished up well after nine to walk home and take the usual series of pictures with one or two deviations from the flowers.
Bright sun, they're saying into the mid-seventies later today, even higher tomorrow, so we'll sit in front of my now thirty year old but still functioning fan and meditate on how to arrange a haircut in this time of the virus.
Really?
It has become something of a mop. Not sure how trying to cut it myself would work out, not something I worried about back in the sixties and early seventies when I let it grow until it reached my shoulders. We're just babbling about whatever comes to mind for the moment I'd guess.
Later. Stopped writing about here, left this to be added in the morning. For whatever I'm saying about being or not being clear headed, time seems to run out for anything even half productive by late morning. The time has been spent watching this and that on the tablet, clicking things on Facebook and half listening to the current states of the fires and affairs on the news.
