Eleven

Tuesday. Not so bad. To sleep before eleven to awaken at ten minutes after six to get up and set out walking to breakfast under clear skies, arriving to find them just beginning to set up the patio furniture and so settled in at my usual indoor dining area table and started on the papers.

And if the patio had been set up and ready?

I'd have settled inside. Much easier to read the papers at one of the inside tables.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up around nine to set out for home under a bright sun feeling, well, more tired than I'd have liked and wondering if I'd need to make a run for the bathroom when I got home. Too many days driving instead of walking? Totally out of shape or just feeling off? Hard to say, but I'd bet on lack of exercise.

Took the usual series of pictures, arrived home to take the selfie and then hurried (but didn't need to run) to the bathroom before settling down at the computer to finish yesterday's entry, post, process the morning pictures and start here, feeling better after sitting for these last two hours.

Lack of exercise.

Lack of exercise.

Later. Quite tired and so ended up lying down on the bed and awakening over an hour later, feeling better. So much for how much sleep I'd gotten last night. How many times have I said that? How much of this is the pandemic, how much is the age? I suspect it has more to do with the age. Not much to do about that.

Evening. Nothing on television, although I watched NCIS all the way through which seemed to confirm it: nothing I wanted to watch on television tonight. To bed then by nine, lights out and radio off after listening to the six minute NPR news at ten, to sleep before eleven.

The photo up top was taken at the 2013 San Francisco Carnaval Parade with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
