Excitement

Monday. Again, asleep not all that long after ten to awaken at five-thirty and that was pretty much it, up to drive to breakfast and park in front of the restaurant at seven-thirty to find the patio set up, the lights on in the indoor dining area and so settled in at “my” table and start on the papers.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries (sprinkled with powdered sugar), fruit cup and coffee, finishing by nine to walk to the car, snap pictures of two flowers on the way and drive straight home to take the selfie in the lobby before settling in at the computer to finish yesterday's entry before posting, process the morning pictures and start here. They're saying into the eighties later this afternoon with temperatures hitting a hundred farther inland and I was happy to be driving home after feeling the heat under a bright sun.

Later. Low seventies, although they made it to just over a hundred inland. Didn't go out. Took a bath, listened to the news and watched this and that on the tablet. Oh, and took a nap and shot a couple more pictures of that white feathered pigeon.

Evening. Nothing on television I wanted to watch and so to bed after eight to spend more time with the tablet, lights out after the six minute news on NPR at ten.

Another cut and paste from last night's posting.

There's no real need around here for late night excitement.

The photo up top was taken at the 2013 San Francisco Carnaval Parade with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
