It Hasn't

Wednesday. To bed, to sleep and up with the alarm at six-forty to walk to breakfast after what seems to have been some rain last night with what may be clear skies ahead. Didn't fight it all that much, walking this morning. I suspect the habit will take hold as the mornings become lighter and brighter. Once you get yourself into a routine it's hard to break. Not impossible, hard. We learn as we age.

An attempt at a nap that resulted in a cruise into the twilight for about an hour, evidently not tired enough to go to sleep.

Later. A walk to the 7-11 look-alike again for another box of Good & Plenty, again skipping out on an ice cream bar. Thought about the two and went with the licorice. And sugar. And whatever.

A swing by the construction site to take another set of the daily photographs. They've started framing the fourth floor with the fifth and last floor soon to follow. I've only seen the front on image they'd had up in the beginning and so I'm not sure what the final building will look like from other angles, but the entrance opposite my street seems to have some roof frames in place. We'll know soon enough.

Worked on the photographs before another attempt at a nap, this time getting to sleep and awakening after something like an hour (when was it I actually did lie down?) after three in the afternoon. Surprised me a bit.

Evening. And that's pretty much been the day. Time watching this and that (back and forth, back and forth) on the tablet, nothing on television and so lights out early. I think. I'm writing this the next day late in the morning and I can't quite remember when, but early. I'm pretty sure. If memory holds, which it hasn't.

The photo up top was taken at the AvéVista apartment construction site yesterday with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
