Instead

Monday. An uneven night's sleep, but awakened (mostly) at a quarter to six to get up by six-ten and turn off the alarm before it sounded five minutes later and get ready to set out for breakfast, the sky clear, the temperature not so bad and the weather people saying as warm today as it was yesterday. I'm certainly OK with that.

Arrived a minute or so before the first waitress arrived before seven and so settled in with the Monday papers, ordering the two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up at eight-thirty. A bit thin, the Monday morning papers.

Home taking the same series of pictures, although at least three of them weren't worth keeping. Nothing on the schedule for the day, the sinus-palate so far behaving.

A walk to the Lakeshore ATM to then return and have an ice cream cone and coffee at the café near the Fitness Center on the way home. And then lie down and crash for a couple of hours. Not sure I couldn't describe these days lately with just those words - “lie down and crash for a couple of hours” - which I find a little sobering.

The sinus-palate isn't acting all that much up, so it's behaving, even on the light dose of pain meds. Which is good. Behaving.

Evening. Watched the Swedish series episode of Johan Falk - Silent Diplomacy at six. A bit confusing in trying to figure out who was doing what to whom, but watched it through. Gave up on the Finnish Look of a Killer – The Father, The Son, and The Unholy Spirit, Part 1 that started at nine and went right to bed instead, skipping any thought of continuing with the tablet. Still tired, even after after all of today's naps, so lights out instead.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
