Question

Thursday. Lights out before ten to awaken at five minutes to six. Not bad and so up and out the door to again drive to breakfast, no signs of rain again, but wasn't in the mood for walking. We have that Protime blood thinner test later, now that the sky is clear and so we'll still get quite a bit of walking in. Arrived before seven, the restaurant open, the day ahead.

The pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, the weight still on target on the scale this morning, finishing up not long after eight-thirty to drive home under a bright sun. Not bad, the head, although there were a number of errors in yesterday's entry that needed correcting, some of them caught after posting. Not sure what that says about the concentration, but it can't be all that positive.

What the hell? Let's see how this trip to the lab turns out. The receptionist had asked that I take her portrait when I returned and so I'll bring a camera with a portrait lens. Let's see if she remembers.

Later. Out the door after ten, catching a bus to Valdez on Grand to take the usual three pictures of the construction sites before walking on by the site at 27th and Broadway on the way to the lab, arriving to find I was next in line. So good, the blood drawn, had a yogurt parfait and coffee at the building café before walking down to Broadway and then to 27th when a bus happened along. Off at Grand and to the Webster stop, a bus arriving ten minutes later. Done. Home, a little tired, the sinus-upper palate acting up a bit, but we've missed the rain and so on to something productive like watching a movie on the tablet.

Hopeless.

Indeed.

Evening. Well, watched the second episode of Hanna on the tablet, a new series where they'd released the first episode sometime ago to tweak your interest (which it did) and then released the rest of the season's episodes today. That first one had kept my attention and now this one, although it took off where the last had ended, took off, as the number of bodies accumulated, in an odd and much different direction.

Otherwise that's been the day. Skipped watching Vera on television at eight, having seen it before. Been routinely skipping them since public television restarted broadcasting them on Thursdays, not altogether sure why. To bed by nine, lights out soon after.

You're just babbling here, wasting everybody's time.

It's early tomorrow morning as I'm writing this section, last night's memory is already foggy, other than the various tablet/television programs I'd consumed. An evening like too many, one not very different than another. Why I continue is the question.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 San Francisco Saint Patrick's Day Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
