Time

Friday To sleep around ten to awaken at six, listen to Democracy Now! (what else?) and set out walking to breakfast under clear skies and a bright sun to arrive, enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. Can still feel the occasional twinge of soreness from the shot, but just, and so things seem to be alright.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, the weight behaving on the scale this morning, finishing up not long after nine to set out for home, taking the usual series of flower pictures to include a new California poppy blooming for the first time in a long time below the Lakeview school.

Home to take the selfie before heading up to start this on the computer feeling tired, bailing here before I'd started writing this and putting it off until the morning.

Later. Another slow afternoon. Putting off writing this until the next morning means whatever happened in any detail is pretty much lost. Time on the tablet, time watching the news, taking a nap? All of the above without being sure I was successful in the attempt at a nap. Naps.

Evening. Nothing on television again, I'll be happy when all the PBS stations are finished raising money, so to bed not long after nine, lights out well before ten this time.

The photo up top was taken of the January 20th, 2017 Trump inauguration day protest at Frank Ogawa Plaza with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 135mm f 2.0 DC Nikkor lens.
