Happen

Saturday To sleep not long after ten to awaken at six-thirty with the alarm, the longest night's rest I can remember in some time. OK, good, up to drive to the Lakeshore ATM before driving over the hill and parking this time next to the 7-11 store on Mandana just off Grand, saving the $2.50 parking fee. A short walk across the street to the restaurant to enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. A good start to a clear skies and bright sunny day.

The Eggs Benedict, country potatoes, fruit cup and coffee for whatever reason (the weight is still holding up well), finishing up not long after nine to return to the car and drive straight home hoping to make it to the bathroom before anything unpleasant might happen.

The selfie in the lobby, up to the bathroom (fortunately in time) and settling in at the computer to start here, no urges to flake out and crash on the bed. Can any of this be blamed on after effects of Wednesday's shot in the arm? No way to tell, we'll leave it with that.

Later. Not particularly hungry this afternoon. Good for the weight I guess. Otherwise spent most of it watching crap on the tablet, a little of this, a little of that. Nice day out there, amplified voices and music coming from the lake. Be nice to check it out again once I get that second vaccination at the end of this month.

Evening. Watched almost all of an episode of NCIS New Orleans for some reason at eight and so to bed by nine, lights out at nine-ten and to sleep whenever it may happen.

The photo up top was taken at a January 31st, 2017 Trump and Betsy DeVos protest at Frank Ogawa Plaza with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
