By Ten
Monday To sleep soon enough (I seem to remember) to awaken then at five-thirty and listen to the five minute KPFA News before Democracy How! started at six. As I have now been doing since time began. Off to walk to breakfast under cloudy skies, arriving to do the usual enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers routine.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, the weight quite low on the scale this morning, but that's what appealed. Finished up around nine to walk home under still cloudy skies, the light dark, but well balanced for taking pictures. My birthday today, by the way, I've been around now for seventy-eight years. Cross our fingers. Never particularly occurred to me I'd reach this age when I was younger.
I take it you're not complaining.
Indeed. Perhaps in passing just mildly surprised.
Arrived home, took the selfie in the lobby and settled in at the computer, finishing this just after noon.
Later. Still having trouble figuring out where to go and what you have to do to make some of the settings, but the Amazon Fire tablet seems to be working out so far and so spent a whole lot of time watching this and that on Netflix and Prime through the afternoon with the usual breaks for the news and checking out happy birthday wishes Facebook. One way to celebrate a birthday.
Evening. Absolutely nothing I wanted to watch on television, more the rule than not these days, so to bed by eight to finish watching a series on the tablet, turn the lights out after nine, my lights out by ten.
