To Bed

Tuesday Awoke at five-thirty. Again. Still, seems to have been enough sleep and so listened to the radio until it was time to get up and drive to breakfast, the weather people saying there was over a fifty percent chance of thunderstorms by eight this morning and it indeed looked dark outside, although the streets were dry and it didn't really look like it was necessarily going to rain.

So you used that as an excuse not to walk.

One does these things. Parked on the street next to the 7-11 store across from the restaurant and so didn't have to pay for parking, as I'd done yesterday, although fretted a little bit as to how visible the car might be while I was eating and would that make it attractive for a catalytic converter thief? It wouldn't and I knew it was probably quite safe, but these catalytic converter thefts have left their mark.

Entered the dining area, turned on the lights and settled in with the papers, ordering the two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee out of habit, finishing up by nine to walk across Grand to the car and drive home to take the selfie and settle in here at the computer. Another morning, but reasonably clear headed in so far as I'm clear headed at all these days, and ready for a Tuesday. “Onward”, as Oat Willie said, “through the fog.”

Later. Another afternoon of watching stuff on the tablet, getting up in the middle of the afternoon to check out the news on television and then back to the tablet. Still not familiar with all of the differences the Amazon Fire has in making its adjustments, still a things I don't know how to do, but I'm making progress.

Evening. Got a call from the service that comes by and takes the Protime blood thinner test at your residence to arrange a time tomorrow morning to come by. Would some time between eight-thirty and nine-thirty be OK? OK, I thought, I can get back home from breakfast by nine-fifteen. OK? OK.

Watched about five minutes of NCIS on television at eight, gave up and went to bed.

The photo up top was taken at the Betsy DeVos demonstration outside of the Oakland federal building on January 31st, 2017 with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
