At Ten

Tuesday Lights out early enough and to sleep early enough to then be awakened by the alarm at six-thirty, so enough sleep I'd think. Up to walk to breakfast under clear enough skies, the air temperature colder than usual, but a pleasant enough walk for all that. Arrived as they were in the middle of setting out the patio tables and so settled at the table I've been using near the open patio door with the papers.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, four people entering the dining room area and taking two tables behind me. The distance good, but I'm thinking cold or not, better to be sitting out on the patio. Finished up around nine again and set out for home under a bright sun happily taking the usual string of pictures, the walk home always seeming to go faster than the walk in.

Took the selfie in the lobby and settled in at the computer to finish and post yesterday's entry, process this morning's pictures and start here. A bright sun outside, albeit a little cooler than I'd like.

Not that it would draw you out of your cave.

I'm out of envelopes and I have a bill that needs paying with one of the new checks that finally arrived in the mail yesterday, two days after the bill was due. Maybe make due by futzing with a return envelope from another vendor and send it off in one of those.

Later. Recently started watching Intelligence, a Netflix series and pretty much spent the afternoon going through more of its episodes. Weird in its hyper fast pacing, weird in the back stabbing, who can be trusted and the like, all going on simultaneously, but it's gotten me hooked. Got up to watch the various news programs just to give myself a break. Another pandemic afternoon, in other words, but with the entertainment slightly better than usual.

Evening. To bed early, lights out at ten.
