After
Monday. To sleep not long after ten, which is good, awakening at five-thirty, which is less good, but feeling OK and so listening to Democracy Now! in the usual half asleep way until getting up and walking to breakfast under clear skies, arriving fairly early to find them just starting to move the tables out onto the patio and so settled down at the usual table inside. Worked out reasonably well as I was the only inside diner until a city work crew setting up just beside the restaurant patio started up an air hammer removing a section of the sidewalk and chased the three patio diners inside.
The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up when the air hammer exploded (they are loud!) and setting out for home under a now bright sun, the weather people saying into the mid-sixties again later this afternoon.
I probably shouldn't have stopped to take the two photographs of the graffiti in the parking lot that I walk through on the way back home as suddenly it became a race to get back to the apartment bathroom. Took the selfie, got on the elevator, got to the bathroom, but not quite in time. Thus we learn to our sorrow. And relearn.
Finished yesterday's entry and posted, started on the morning pictures, but then took a brief lie down before getting up again to finish the pictures and start here, finishing after noon. Tired, finally, we'll not be staying awake watching something on the tablet late again tonight.
Later. Finished watching Tidelands, another odd Netflix series with a weird mix of fantasy, murder, sex and the spawn of fishermen who were seduced by Sea Sirens. The ending seems to suggest there may be a season two.
Evening. To bed after eight, tablet off, lights out at ten, my lights out not all that long after.
