At Ten

Friday. Another to sleep not long after ten night to awaken at five forty-five after (I'm assuming) a decent night's sleep. Up to drive to breakfast, parking by the 7-11 store and entering the restaurant dining area to find the patio tables in place. OK, settled in at my usual table on the patio thinking the indoor dining area would have people entering later and it would be better to sit outside.

The Eggs Benedict, country potatoes (they'd changed the name to home fries sometime way back), fruit cup and coffee this time, finishing up with all the other patio tables having filled around nine (and three tables in use inside) to walk to the car and drive straight home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer after the usual (successful) race to the bathroom. Hurried and a little wobbly getting in, but finally feeling settled and ready for a decent day to follow.

Later. Ended up listening to the news after a nap and then listening to some opera on YouTube before getting antsy and talking myself out the door to walk up to the construction site and snapping the usual three pictures to see what changes they'd made, the framing off with the difficulty in positioning the camera while holding it over my head to clear the fence. Halfway down the hill then to shoot a picture of the lake all the while feeling fuzzy headed and marginally dizzy throughout. Such is life to be this day, I guess.

The Element that had had its catalytic converter stolen was parked across the street again and so a picture. I noticed the owner was out by it and had opened the back of the car later when I went to pick up the mail and so talked with him briefly, he mentioning he'd had insurance to help in covering the cost.

Evening. Watched the first forty-five minutes of Inspector Morse, an episode I either haven't seen before or don't remember. Bailed on it now, probably bailed on it back when. To bed, skipped continuing to watch with The Irregulars, a weird Netflix Sherlock Holmes series on the tablet, and turn the lights out at ten.
