Morning
Saturday. To sleep after ten to awaken very close to six, another decent night's rest. I keep saying that, anyway: “Decent night's rest.” Up to walk to breakfast under clear skies, the weather people saying we'll reach seventy degrees later today and close to eighty into next week. My, my. Arrived to find the patio half set up and so moved a chair to the table I always use and settled in with the papers.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee out of habit, the weight behaving nicely lately on the scale in the mornings, finishing up around nine again to set out for home and take the usual string of pictures, the farmers market now set up and running, the lake area full of tables and kiosks selling this and that, people starting to fill the one or two restaurants that have outside seating along the way.
Home to take the selfie and then hurry to make it to the bathroom before settling in at the computer. Always something going on to keep us focused.
Posted yesterday's entry, processed the morning pictures and now it's eleven-thirty, we'll undoubtedly lie down with the tablet in another few minutes. Four more days until I get my second vaccination.
Later. Finished watching The Irregulars on Netflix, a really odd and IMHO badly written Sherlock Holmes take off.
Live music and singing floating up from the lake, but again, no thought to check it out. How long has it been since I've walked down to the lake on a weekday or a weekend? Is it only wanting to be careful with the virus or do I still have PSTD-like thoughts about people stealing an old guy's camera? Need to deal with that, if not now, then after that second shot on Wednesday.
Evening. To bed before eight to finish a Korean movie on the tablet (another odd mix of over the top gunfire leading to an unpleasant ending for the couple). Lights out by ten, but then some delay in getting to sleep. Does this mean we'll making up for it by sleeping in a little later tomorrow in the morning?
