Start

Tuesday. To sleep reasonably soon after ten to awaken then for good at six-fifteen. A decent night's sleep. Up on another clear skies sunny morning to walk to breakfast, arriving at the usual time to find the patio set up and so settled in at my table to start on the papers, no other diners showing up during breakfast.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee just because, finishing up after nine to set out for home, the owner mentioning, as I was leaving, that they'd had a full house full of diners after I'd left yesterday morning through the entire day, she figuring it was because the restaurant next door had closed to have work done. OK. Don't have to worry about my morning restaurant going bust before this pandemic ends. Eases off. Whatever it does to call an end.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer. No running for the bathroom this morning. Finished and posted yesterday's entry, processed the morning pictures and started on this as it approaches noon. They're saying it will be close to eighty degrees later today and into the very low eighties degrees tomorrow, the downside being wind in the morning and no rain. We need rain.

Later. Watched more of the Netflix series Secret City I mentioned yesterday, wondering how it could be that I'd seen the series in the past, but didn't remember any of it, recalling none of the scenes and only a flicker of thought I recognized one of the characters. Still don't remember it even though the list of red underlined episodes says I have. We'll leave it at that.

Evening. Skipped out on television and went to bed again not long before nine, lights out by ten. The second COVID shot tomorrow in the early evening, lying there wondering is the car battery needed charging. Wouldn't do to set out for the appointment to find the car won't start.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
