San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival parade.

May 23, 2007

In Perspective
Wednesday. A lot of entries this month, I suspect more to the fact I've had pictures available than any other reason. The Carnaval parade is coming this weekend and Gay Pride in June, so I should have enough photographs to get me through to retirement when I'll then set forth on week days and find forgiving subjects. Well, suitable subjects.

Yeah?

Interesting to see this develop. I now have a laptop, purchased so I can manipulate photographs and keep the journal while travelling. Odd thought for someone who's put but ten thousand miles on his odometer over the last three years. But I think I'm on track. I could be kidding myself but we'll know soon enough.

Lunch today with MSV, really excellent pasta, the weather just a little warm in the afternoon, but otherwise perfect. The attitude is not bad, the “disoriented” aspect of the aching head has not returned since I noticed it had left a week or so back. That is good. Believe me, from my standpoint (no way for anyone else to tell), that is very good. Puts the rest of this crap in perspective.

The photograph was taken at the San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival parade with a Nikon D2Xs mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 Nikkor VR lens at 1/640th second, f 2.8, ISO 100.
