On The World
Saturday. Up early after going to bed early last night, the usual breakfast at the usual place; home now, the sky overcast with sun predicted by the afternoon, Ms. Emmy curled up in the bedroom, the head funky, but feeling pretty good. Life in the not so big city with thirty-five days left until retirement. Life is weird, but then life has always been weird and we do our best not to notice it.
A walk downtown to the office (an excuse for the walk), the bus back, a few hours working on artandlife (nothing to post yet, but progress none the less). Getting artandlife in shape has been one of my projects on the list of necessary projects I want to accomplish on my retirement. No rules against getting a head start. An indicator, I think, of a better attitude. We grasp at straws these days, any sign a sign of improvement.
You do go on.
Well, it's a Saturday starting a three day weekend, the Carnaval parade tomorrow morning. Life in the fast lane, the wind whipping by my window on the world.
