Tired

Saturday. Lights out before ten to awaken at five-fifty. Not bad. Up and out the door under clear skies and facing a rising sun to arrive at nine minutes before seven, the restaurant dining area dark, but the door open and so entered, turned on the lights and settled in with the papers.

The French toast with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up by eight-thirty and setting out for home under a bright sun. They're saying a high of sixty-six later, with this sun you'd think that too low, but they're usually right. Home to take the selfie, edit and post yesterday's entry and settle in to see what the weekend may hold.

The Carnival Parade kicks off tomorrow morning, but I'm pretty sure I won't even think about going to photograph it. The walk from the BART station is fairly long and I can't see how I'm going to have the stamina to handle the all of it. Still, we'll continue to push the daily walking and shooting and see if there are ways to turn it around.

Later. A walk over to the lake not long after noon, the head in a bit of a bubble and feeling tired, so but one or two pictures and then back to the apartment to lie down for an hour, feeling better, the bubble-like feeling gone. Mostly. Watched some golf, listened to the news, took out the garbage and received the end of this month's delivery from Amazon. Sunny out there, but the temperature has, as advertised, topped out in the mid-sixties.

Evening. To bed not long after eight. Let's see if we can get to sleep an hour early, this evening, see how that works out when we awake in the morning. I'm tired of being tired.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 How Weird Street Faire with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
