Not
Monday. Lights out just after nine to awaken briefly more times than I can remember, up finally at ten minutes to six to take my time getting up and getting ready to drive to breakfast, the sky overcast, but no sign of rain. The weather people are saying it will be clear this week with temperatures getting up into the low seventies again.
OK, awoke a bunch of times during the night, but feel OK, arriving at the restaurant at eight minutes to seven, the dining area dark again, but the door open and so inside to turn on the lights and settle in with today's skinny papers. Ordered the plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing reading until just before eight-thirty to head to the car and drive home. No thought to go by the supermarket. Such is life.
Later. A quick walk up the street to the construction site to take a picture to compare to one taken one year ago today. Framing and the position from which the photographs were taken aren't the best for comparison purposes, but definitely a difference.
Another walk after noon to the lake to take but two or three pictures. Sixty-five degrees with a fairly cold breeze and so turned around and headed back to the apartment. With two days of driving instead of walking to breakfast and nothing in the way of extended walks later we have some catching to do. But tomorrow.
Evening. Watched two uneven episodes of a Norwegian thing called Mammon that started at six which I don't recommend, skipped the Finnish Force that followed and made it to bed before nine. Lights out not long after. Now, will we awaken more times than not this night? I hope not.
