Hope

Tuesday. Lights out not long after nine to awaken finally at five minutes to six. Very good. Up to head out for breakfast under an overcast sky, the weather people saying we may reach seventy degrees today, and so a nice walk to breakfast, arriving to find the restaurant open and well underway at five minutes to seven.

The avocado omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, pushing to read more of the papers so that I could leave at close to if not nine, wanting to stop and make a haircut appointment at the shop on the way home when they opened (which I did). The usual pictures, two bicyclists waiting under the 580 Overpass, Lime scooters by the lake, a photo of today's trash at the base of the telephone pole at the entrance to my street.

Stuff appears and disappears on a regular basis, people pulling over to sort through whatever's there looking for something they like, others removing it into the trash. Do the garbage trucks stop to pick it up? Whomever it is, the various piles of “stuff” seem to regularly appear and then disappear each morning as I walk past.

Another selfie when I got home, up to settle in and post yesterday's entry, now to figure out what to do for the rest of the morning. Maybe a trip to the Broadway ATM?

Later. Out the door and on the bus as it was approaching noon, going by the Broadway ATM and then walking back to the apartment house construction sites on Webster and Valdez because that's pretty much what I always do when a return bus isn't due to arrive within a short period of time. So fine, first Webster, then Valdez, back to the back end of the Webster site on 23rd just because before walking to the bus stop on Grand with five minutes to spare before the bus arrived.

I thought you needed to get in a decent walk. Why take the bus?

The wobbly head again. I did step out quite smartly when walking up my hill, though. More through guilt than anything else.

Evening. Hmm. Everything I've tried watching on the tablet and on television is genuinely awful and so to bed not long after eight to listen to the radio and get to sleep early. I hope.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 How Weird Street Faire with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
