End

Wednesday. To sleep not long after nine to then awaken at five-thirty, too early by thirty to forty minutes. Up a bit slowly, but headed out for breakfast under cloud covered skies, the temperature reasonable to arrive at five minutes to seven, the restaurant open. OK, all things considered, not a bad start.

The single pork chop, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast to then finish the papers by twenty minutes to nine and head home under what was now an intermittent sun, taking the usual pictures, arriving to take the selfie and post yesterday's entry before preparing to head out for a haircut.

Later. Cut it a little close for someone who invariably arrives too early at appointments, the haircut scheduled for eleven and my arriving at, well, exactly eleven. Got the haircut and walked back to the apartment feeling a little tired, “a little” being somewhat more than I would in returning from breakfast. Not sure why.

Spent the early afternoon thinking of ways to get my ass in gear, but didn't do more than affix the 2020 car registration sticker to the car license plate. Out the door, down to the garage and back, in other words. Listening to the three o'clock PBS News Hour at the moment. Maybe get out later for a trip to the 7-11 look-alike. If necessary, go for something muscular in its ability to get me out the door: like a pint of ice cream.

Evening. So much for getting out the door. Watched more of some Netflix and Prime things I'd given up on in the middle of some time back on the tablet. Never remembered what the story was in the first half of one, even after watching it through to the finish. Another mark on the glitch side of the memory board.

Watched two more episodes of the happy to throw you in jail Stasi people in the German The Weissensee Saga series, people acting badly to everyone around them. Seems, in checking the schedule, there are more episodes to follow. Not sure how this one will end.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 How Weird Street Faire with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
