Before

Sunday. To sleep not all that long after ten to awaken just after six and listen to some quite nice radical radio on KALW until seven before starting to stir and finally get up, make the bed, get dressed and gather the papers before setting out to drive to breakfast on another, going to be even warmer, sunny Sunday morning to arrive, park, enter the closed off dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee this time because we're still working at shaving off those last couple of pounds we've gained with shelter-in-place, finishing up just after nine-thirty to drive home, take the selfie and settle in at the computer to finish yesterday's entry (we'd stopped writing yesterday after entering the morning section), post the thing and start with this. Not many photographs when you drive and so it doesn't take all that long to finish.

Still lots of noise from the pigeons as they build their nests in the bottom of the balcony above mine, I can hear them from the bedroom when waking up. Some thoughts of changing the routine a bit, push myself, listen to music for a change, avoid the tablet (after finishing Call To Duty, of course.) No reason not to have these thoughts, even though we rarely do anything about them.

Later. Watched more of Call To Duty through the mid-afternoon. The English accents make it harder to follow, but its edge has mostly been maintained and so we'll probably come close to finishing the season by the end of the day.

A walk up my street to take a series of pictures of the construction site to see if they've been working on it in these last two weeks since I've taken pictures. Doesn't really look as if they have, although other construction sites in the area have been active. Nice out there, the temperature seventy-nine degrees, and so took a shot of the white column pergola area just off Grand between two apartment buildings walking back to the apartment. Lots of people out on this Memorial Day watch out for coronavirus weekend.

Evening. Watched Death In Paradise at six, totally improbable plot notwithstanding, followed by the second and final of two Miss Marple episodes that I was interested in watching after having seen the first episode last week. Took me a while after it started to remember what had happened in that first episode, but I did, it's just I wondered at my anticipation when I saw how lamely it played out. Ah, well. Been here before.

The photo up top was taken at the forming up of the 2016 Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in San Francisco with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
