Before Ten

Sunday. Another to sleep not long after ten night to awaken very briefly at four-thirty, blink, and then awaken for good at six-thirty, the alarm for some reason not sounding. Up to drive to the Lakeshore ATM and then over the hill to the restaurant, arriving to find everything set up and so sat without thinking at my usual inside dining area table to start on the papers. Bright sun, fairly warm temperature, more so than usual was the thought later when I was leaving.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up just after nine to set out for the car, drive straight home hoping I wouldn't have a problem reaching the bathroom in time. Took the selfie in the lobby, took the elevator to the apartment a little worried, but won the race in time. Good grief. Settled in at the computer, corrected the more obvious typos and such in yesterday's entry (why don't I catch them the day I make them?), posted and then started with this.

Feeling a little woozy, close to dizzy. as I often do when I get home. I take the blood pressure when I get up in the mornings before taking the blood pressure med and it was 117/71 at six-thirty and so took the measure again at nine-forty when the med has had enough time to kick in: 106/57. That could be the answer to the feeling almost dizzy issue. Took it again at ten-thirty: 108/60. Not much difference. This does just seem to go on and on.

Later. Took a bath (it's been a while) and then took another reading: 107/54. No wonder I'm tired. We'll make adjustments to include when we take the readings.

Watched the P.G.A. Valspar Championship through to the end on television sitting half asleep in a chair in the living room. Hard to get too enthused when you're so tired.

Started to feel better, less tired and so took another reading at six this evening: 127/62. OK, that's pretty close to the target, although I'd taken one earlier at two thirty-five, still tired, but it was up to 120/64.

Evening. Watched a Netflix movie, talked with my sister, checked out The Equalizer after eight for about ten minutes and then went to bed, lights out before ten.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 Oakland Climate March at Lake Merritt with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
