Wall

Saturday. To sleep soon enough, I seem to recall, to awaken at five, drop off again and awaken at six-thirty with the alarm and so I probably got enough sleep. Up to walk to breakfast under overcast skies, the weather people saying sunny with a high of sixty-nine degrees later, so it looks like a decent (if dry) day ahead. Arrived as they were just starting to put the tables and chairs out on the patio and so settled in at my table inside with the papers after turning on the lights.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again, finishing up after nine to set out for home, the sun not quite breaking through yet and so the light on many of the flower pictures in better balance. Not that I was paying all that much attention, other than adjusting the exposure back and forth.

The farmers market up and running, lots of people about, most of them wearing masks, arriving home to take the selfie in the lobby (where else?), settle in at the computer and finish yesterday's entry. Babble, most of it, but winced and posted it with only minor regret.

Later. Changed the bed sheets and cleared up another corner of the bedroom to then lie down and look for something to watch on the tablet. Didn't find anything that appealed. Not sure that's a good sign.

Sunny, music and sounds of a crowd coming from the lake, the temperature around sixty, no thought to go outside. Sound familiar?

Evening. Watched the beginning of NCIS New Orleans, something I haven't looked at in quite a while. I can probably go without watching it again for another while. What seems to overly bug my thin little skin are the secondary characters they include for what seem to be attempts at juvenile humor. Drives juvenile me up the wall.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 Oakland Climate March at Lake Merritt with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
