November 5, 2019

Early

Tuesday. To bed early, lights out early to awaken four times during the night to get up to take a leak and then go right back to sleep, awakening for good just after six. Right on target. Maybe drink fewer fluids though. Four times seems overly liquid.

Off to breakfast under lower lying clouds, the temperature pretty good. One of the Gruv scooters was sitting in a new location and so I assume it was used yesterday and worth a picture, arriving at the restaurant to find it had just opened and so headed into the dining area to turn on the lights to settle in with the papers. A pretty good start, the head seemingly clear, the energy good.

The single pork chop, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, the weight right on target on the scale this morning. Not that that made any difference in what I'd ordered.

Finished up before nine to walk home, the sun by now having burned off most of the low lying overcast and so took the usual set of pictures, some of them in focus. The small V3 camera is nice for being unobtrusive, but it doesn't compare with the larger and better DSLR's.

You sure you're not a factor in those pictures? You haven't tried very hard to turn whatever you're unhappy with around.

Interesting to see they'd opened a gift shop at the corner of the building that's under construction. They're obviously closer to finishing the interior. Maybe take another look up my street later to see how they're doing at the back of the building.

Home to take the selfie and finish up yesterday's entry, wondering if the internet would still be slow and how well the software updates still remaining would load this time around. Seems OK, the speed reasonable, another Adobe app finishing this time. Only four more to go.

Checked FedEx to see how that monitor card was doing. Looks like it made its way to my local Oakland post office this morning, but not due for delivery until tomorrow. I am looking forward to using that monitor with the photographs, let me tell you.

Later. The blood pressure has been back to normal after taking the med, under 120/80. Good. Updated three more of the Adobe apps, but had Photoshop freeze again at the same point it did yesterday. Cleared out a bunch of magazines from the bedroom, got in a short nap. Let's see. I'm afraid that was about it. Didn't get up to the construction site, we'll take care of that tomorrow or later this week.

Evening. To bed again not all that long after seven, we're still going to bed at least an hour too early.
