Bed

Sunday. Lights out not long after nine to awaken (sort of) at five and then awaken for good right at six after what I'm guessing was a decent night's rest. Felt good, anyway, might as well be upbeat. Cross fingers against this tiredness business showing up later.

Up to drive to breakfast on another foggy day, arriving to find the restaurant dark, but the dining area door open and so entered to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. Nice to drive now and again. I say I walk to avoid paying for parking and to get in a modest dose of exercise. Hate to think how much walking I'd do if I didn't.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, haven't had it in a while, finishing up after nine and driving home to take the selfie in the lobby and then settle down to finish yesterday's entry, post it before starting this. Now what to use for the picture above and picture behind the journal title? I've had enough painted faces photos and I haven't been generating any current photos from recent events now for a year.

Later. No sign of yesterday's tired, crawl onto the bed and zone out so far. A walk to the lake just to get outside. People scattered about. An egret flying, a group of older adults and their kids performing along Grand and giving out free bottles of water (didn't ask why) and so a picture. A not very good picture of a fellow playing whatever that is and one last photo as I left for home. The eyes taking their time getting used to the bright sun through all this, some difficulty in focusing. Been this way on and off for some time. An ophthalmologist's appointment Tuesday to get an updated prescription for glasses. We'll ask about it then.

Home feeling good, still none of the tiredness stuff. Up now for doing something energetic like watching a football game.

Evening. Seven o'clock. Watched football. Sort of. Watched some of a bunch of programs, skipping around during advertisements. Still not “tired”, but early or not, it's time for bed.
