Now

Tuesday To sleep soon enough to awaken at five forty-five and dawdle away the time listening to the morning news programs talk about the election, setting out to walk to breakfast on a soon to be clear and cool morning, passing by an abandoned car with a newly smashed out side window that required a picture before arriving somewhat early as I've been doing now for these last few days and settle in at my table on the patio with the papers.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up before nine to set out for home, the sun out, the election day of election days now ahead. More of the same group of walking home pictures, the mood reasonably good and ready for whatever may come. One way or another.

The selfie in the now cleared of Halloween decorations lobby, up to work on this, finishing up fifteen minutes before noon in time to turn on the first news program of the day.

Later. The air quality is heading from Moderate to Good, which is obviously good, but no excuses were needed to essentially spend the day on the tablet, most of the news organizations I follow starting election coverage at three and so keeping one or another of them on in the background.

Evening. We'll see how the vote counting has gone in the morning. Evidently Biden still has a good chance of winning this thing, but the hell with staying up all night. Sleep calls. Sleep is good, maybe more especially right now.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 San Francisco Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
