Sleep
Saturday. To sleep not long after ten to awaken at six forty-eight, eighteen minutes after the alarm was due to go off. I'd forgotten to set it. I've learned if I change my routines in any way while in the middle of one, such as preparing to go to bed, that I'll often forget one of the steps such as turning on the alarm and that's what happened when I broke my going to bed routine last night.
Anyway I had just enough time to get up to go through the usual morning routine and set out to drive to the Lakeshore ATM on the way to breakfast, arriving to park by the 7-11 store, cross Grand, enter the indoor dining area and settle in with the papers.
The beef patty, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up by nine to walk to the car and drive home, take this sleepy looking selfie in the lobby, visit the bathroom and settle in at the computer after taking the blood pressure. Low, this time. I'd taken it this morning first thing to find it OK, but with one reading a little high and so took the blood pressure med before leaving and so found it low right at the edge of being too low when I returned. Such is life.
Later. Watched the first half of the Alabama-Auburn game before heading over to the lake to at least say I'd gotten outside to run into the swarm of motorcyclists up on their rear wheels again roaring by the lake, passing the numerous police cars, the motorcycle equivalent of a car sideshow was my thought. Anyway, caught a few pictures when one or two of them returned as I'd finally taken my camera out of the backpack and had it in hand.
Returned as the second half of the game just started, Alabama finally winning in overtime.
Evening. Watched (listened to) the Roy Orbison Forever special on KQED. Worth putting up with all the station's raising money babble. Knew the songs, just didn't know much about his life, where he lived, how it ended. To bed again early by eight, lights out by nine, took longer this night in finally getting to sleep.
