Nine

Friday. Really tired yesterday and so didn't do much more than walk down the way to the 7-11 look alike for a pint of strawberry ice cream, a small bag of Doritos and a can of bean dip, happily eating them both when I returned. Haven't done this now in a long time. Comfort food.

To sleep last night before eleven to awaken just before six to listen to Democracy Now! before getting up and setting out walking to breakfast on mostly empty sidewalks with not many cars on the streets, the sun coming up bright, the air a bit cold, but dressed for it. Arrived to turn the lights on in the indoor dining area and settle in at my table with the papers.

The single pork chop (they normally provide two), scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up just after nine to set out walking home, the sun still bright, most of the flower pictures half way decently exposed, I discovered, when I looked at them on the computer when I was home.

The usual selfie in the lobby before settling in at the computer to post Wednesday's entry after scribbling an apology for not finishing it or creating an entry for Thanksgiving. No reason to do that, really, but it seemed the thing to do.

Later. Watched a movie on the tablet, took a bath, listened to the news and took three doses of the blood pressure med to keep it within bounds. The outside air, unfortunately, started in the Unhealthy For Some range falling to Moderate later, so a good enough rationalization not to go outside. Not that the thought occurred.

Evening. Still reasonably coherent enough to be writing this at six in the evening as I'm usually not able or willing to concentrate by early afternoon. To bed after eight, lights out after nine.

The photo up top was taken in May 2015 at the San Francisco Carnaval Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
