Lights
Friday. Lights out before ten to awaken then at a quarter past six to get up and get ready to walk to breakfast on a clear, not overly cool morning, the eyes watering on the way, but that's to be expected from here on out. Arrived just after seven to sit and eventually order the avocado and (light on the) cheese omelet, country potatoes, toast, sliced bananas (they were out of the fruit cup) and coffee for breakfast. Surprised to be under the target weight by a pound this morning on the scale.
Finished the papers by a quarter to nine and walked toward the Grand Lake theater, but crossed the street to the theater this time to get a view and a picture of what they'd posted on the marquee. Too dark to make it out when walking in and I've been forgetting to turn around and look when walking back so made sure, since I'd finally remembered, to check it out today.
Another sidewalk picture, a better shot of two Lime scooters sitting by the lake to then discover they were finally beginning to resurface Euclid and so took a couple of pictures. Lots of excitement for a Friday before Halloween.
Will we get out for a walk later? Does it matter? It does, but it doesn't seem to bother me but now and again in the mornings. Feel good, though, and we'll know by the next paragraph.
Later. Watched stuff on the tablet and not a thought to go outside again on a sunny in the lower seventies afternoon. Guess that's the way it's going to be. Another World Series game at five-oh-nine and so I suspect I already know how we'll be spending the evening.
We?
Baseball and me.
Evening. Watched the first eleven innings of the game on television before listening then to the twelfth inning on the radio as it was approaching ten. We'll find out who won in the morning, no way I was staying up past ten before turning out the lights.
