After

Tuesday. Did I listen to the six minute ten o'clock news or did I turn the lights out earlier? I guess it doesn't matter, awakening at a quarter to six and half listening to the radio until six-fifteen, up then to set out on a clear, not overly cool morning. A good start, in other words, arriving before seven to find the restaurant open.

The avocado and (light on the) cheese omelet, country potatoes (they now call home fries, I believe), toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast. No particular reason, just what I ended up ordering, going through the papers in some detail, as I didn't finish until after nine.

The usual walk home, still admiring the returning pandorea flowers, taking the usual pictures. Again wondered how many of these scooters become damaged as I came across this one. Running a little later I spied the white sails on the lake ladies walking to wherever they're walking, snapped a picture of what remains of the road construction up Euclid and capped it with a gruesome snap of your's truly just because.

I've been mulling it over for a couple of days now, but push came to shove and I started doing the laundry when I got to the apartment. Just did it. Took five minutes to get it downstairs and running.

Later. Laundry finished, folded and hung just after noon, the socks will get their turn later. Nice day out there and so the fan is running as I sit about listening to the news and not much more. For good or ill, that describes the afternoon.

Evening. Finished watching a series called Forgotten, a Masterpiece Theater thing on the tablet. Six episodes over forty minutes each that turned out pretty well, the person who done it turning out to be one I didn't consider likely from the many prospects. Anyway, a worthwhile way to fritter away a few hours if frittering is what you're after.
