Sleep
Monday. I did watch all of yesterday's game, but then went right to bed to listen to the radio until just after nine and then to sleep, awakening just before the five minute KPFA news came on before six and then getting ready to walk to breakfast while listening to Democracy Now!, setting out on time at six-forty to arrive before seven on a relatively clear, but cold Monday Morning, the restaurant open and people inside.
Had the two strips of bacon, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, coming in exactly on target on the scale this morning, yesterday's trip by the supermarket not sending the diet off the charts as it has a habit of doing. Surprise.
Finished up early before eight-thirty taking the usual pictures walking home under the sun, the usual line of scooters by Lake Merritt, a picture of a neighbor's Halloween pumpkins just because before taking the selfie in the lobby before sitting down at the computer to wrestle with the journal before posting. I'm looking forward to receiving that monitor from Dell after working with this one.
Turned on the television (of course) and listened to the news and where we stand after a long night on the fire lines.
Later. An hour's sort of a nap. Fogged out for an hour, anyway. Up to listen to the news, the temperature quite good with a high of seventy, but no thought to go out other than maybe a walk up the street later to see what they've done on the local construction project. People still go in and out of the building fronting on Grand in the mornings, loading what seems a never ending stream of removed paneling and the like. Surprising how much stuff was and apparently still is inside the building.
Started watching the PBS Newshour at three and decided I'd rather take those pictures up the way than continue listening to a Vice President Pence interview and so took a series of pictures, the workmen continuing with setting in place the reinforced cement columns, glancing at, but otherwise not paying attention to the photographer.
Evening. To bed well before eight. Tired. Not sure why so tired, but I'm suspecting it isn't going to be all that hard to get to sleep.
