October 5, 2020

Then

Monday To sleep not long after ten to awaken at five-fifty, just before the five minute KPFA news, followed by Democracy Now! that started at six. None of the sore chest now for a while and so up and out the door to walk to breakfast on what was an unusually foggy morning, hoping there was more water than smoke in the air. Passed by a homeless man sleeping on the cold sidewalk and so took a picture. How old is he? Depressing. He was just awakening and getting up on his feet when I returned well fed from breakfast over an hour later.

Arrived to settle in at my table on the restaurant patio, not as many other diners showing up this morning, ordering the avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee to finish up by nine, the morning still foggy, but starting to clear.

Later. It's now six in the evening after another super tired day, crapping out with the description above before noon and heading for bed to take a nap and then to bed again for another nap. Not sure I'm not ready for bed again, maybe finish this squib tomorrow.

Evening. Most all of the news is about the president's coronavirus hospitalization, most of it about how little information is coming from his doctors and staff. Evidently the worrisome period comes between seven and tens days after testing positive for the virus and that's not coming up until later this week. I can put off listening again until then.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 San Francisco LGBTQ Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
