Nine
Sunday To sleep not long after ten to awaken just after five, turn over and doze off again until six to then turn on the radio and listen to CounterSpin followed by the news, getting up finally after seven and driving to breakfast under clear skies and a soon to be rising sun.
Parked and settled in at my table on the restaurant patio to start on the papers. More to read in Sunday's papers than there's time to read in an hour and a half's breakfast, but still able to read pretty much all of what piqued my interest.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up a quarter or so after nine, to drive straight home, take the selfie in the lobby and settle in here at the computer on what looks will be a sunny day they're saying will reach into the high seventies later, not sure what that means for the fires that are still burning throughout the state. The Air Quality Index was Moderate when I checked it after arriving home.
Later. No thought to go outside to check out the activity at the white column pergola by the lake (they'd set up booths and tables along the blocked off El Embarcadero again as they'd done yesterday and last weekend and there were crowds of people about), but I did manage to head up to the construction site to see what they'd done since I'd last photographed it over three weeks ago, taking the usual set of four pictures. And another selfie when I returned to the apartment.
Evening. A decent climate change segment on 60 Minutes at seven. The air quality still Moderate and so opened the bedroom windows and turned on the fan to draw in the cooler air. We'll sleep better for that tonight. Watched Last Tango In Halifax at eight without thoughts of turning it off before heading to bed not long after nine.
