Through
Saturday Awoke finally at close to seven, later than usual, but after awakening briefly twice earlier for whatever reason, no real sign of the aching chest now in some time. The temperature good after having the bedroom windows open overnight and so set out walking to breakfast, having checked the air index to find it Moderate. Took two snapshots of the rising sun on the way, the smoke giving it a red cast, but again no smell or odd feelings in the lungs. People about setting up the farmers market.
The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, first time in a while, the other patio tables filling with diners over the hour and a half I was eating and finishing up with the papers. (No more real news about the president's condition, but I wasn't expecting that.)
Off then home, the sun out, but still with a slight reddish cast, taking another set of flower pictures making the walk home seem so much faster than the walk in.
More photos of the Lime scooters I found on the sidewalk along Grand as I approached the lake, up the hill to the lobby to snap the selfie (again badly focused and exposed) and then to settle in at the computer and start on all this.
Later. Odd. I've been putting off opening and checking the contents of my storage locker above my parking space in the apartment house garage and today, feeling energetic, I found the key to the padlock and opened it to find not what I'd been hoping for, but a bunch of stuff I'll never use again along with other stuff I need to junk. Again, how long have I been avoiding ding this? Years? How much time and energy did it take? Zip? Close to zip? What's been happening? I'm seventy-seven going on a hundred and five?
Harrington's in San Francisco announced it's closing for good. How many nights did we spend drinking at Harrington's back in the day?
Evening. Nothing on television and so to bed around eight to finish watching a movie on the tablet, one of these shoot 'em up, everybody dies things with no sense of reality, but lots of action. Not sure I'd trust my taste or recommendations in movies if I knew I'd watched this one straight through.
