Time

Monday To sleep not long after ten to awaken at six-thirty and walk to breakfast under clear skies, but, as they were forecasting, somewhat cooler this time. Passed by five Lime scooters in the same location that I'd found six of them all scattered about yesterday, but in better order and so decided they were undoubtedly placed there by the company, something I hadn't been entirely clear yesterday when I'd passed them by.

Arrived a bit early, but settled in at my table and started on the papers, no other customers this time. Had the plain waffle with bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up around nine to walk back home under a bright sun, but running into what was obviously a homeless man walking ahead of me in the distance, a homeless man clearly behaving weirdly, swatting at planters, checking every trash container and throwing its contents around. Which slowed me down. OK, take the pictures, take my time, better to avoid him as he was big enough and old enough to do me harm.

On by the same five scooters, up to the apartment lobby to take the selfie and then settle in at the computer to start here. Tired, though, and so stopped after processing the pictures, figured I'd lie down for a while and get back up when the news came on at noon. Ended up sleeping until well after two. So much for having gotten a decent night's sleep last night, maybe start turning the lights out and radio off at nine instead of ten.

Later. Awoke at two-thirty, as mentioned, to spend the rest of the afternoon listening to the news and watching a series on the tablet.

Evening. What to say? Took a look at The Bletchley Circle at eight-fifty, remembered I'd seen it before and hadn't been all that warm to it then, and so went to bed not long after nine, turning out the lights soon after. We'll see if we can get to sleep earlier without awakening any earlier, get in more sleep this time.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco 2018 Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
