Done

Tuesday To sleep a little earlier than usual to awaken at just before six in time to listen to Democracy Now! before setting out to walk to breakfast on another clear and soon to be sunny morning. The temperature was cool enough, cool to the point I had all the windows closed last night, sleeping with the fan on, but the indoor temperature more than nice after all these high temperature days. Arrived at the restaurant along with one other regular to settle in at the usual table and start on the papers.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries again, the weight holding, but just, finishing up around nine to walk back home under a direct sun, but again, the temperature holding and so quite comfortable in long sleeved shirt and light summer jacket. Took few pictures for whatever reason with varying degrees of success, more snapshots than photographs . At least there was no one behaving bizarrely to share the sidewalk with as there'd been yesterday. No complaints about that.

Another selfie in the lobby before settling down at the computer to start on the pictures and eventually get to this. Still getting lots of political stuff in the mail although, having mailed my ballot Saturday, all of them now go straight in the trash. This political environment is bizarre (and you can quote me on that).

Later. Turned a fan on for the first time today at two-thirty, a first for it being this late in the day, the outside temperature in the mid-seventies. I suspect I'll want to open the windows tonight, the air quality was Moderate earlier, but has improved to Good this afternoon. Let's hope it holds.

Evening. Nothing on television again, Tuesday nights aren't the best for matching my particular tastes, and so to bed by nine. Listened to the radio for a while, turned the light out well before ten and decided to see if we couldn't get to sleep early again. Another day done, another day's success in putting off tasks needing to be done.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco 2018 Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
