Ten

Wednesday To sleep by eleven I seem to recall, awakening then at five-thirty. Too early, but feeling awake and ready to walk to breakfast on another clear, but much cooler morning. The first to arrive at the restaurant and settle in at my table on their patio, thinking maybe I should have worn a heavier jacket for the cold. Comfortable enough, but winter will eventually arrive after all these unusually hot days.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again, finishing up just after nine to set out for home under a bright sun, but still cooler temperatures. Comfortable, in other words. Fewer flower to photographs, some of the planter flowers wilted probably through lack of water, but still enough to keep me entertained.

A shot of recent graffiti by the 580 overpass just because, on to the apartment house lobby to take another wobbly selfie and then head up to the computer to finish and post yesterday's entry, process the pictures and start here. Things to do today, we see in the next paragraph if I get any of them done.

Later. Changed the bed sheets, a bigger project in this case than you might imagine, and so I can say I got at least one of the “things” on the list done.

Evening. Stayed up long enough to watch Midsomer Murders and, silly as it was, I made it all the way through. I suspect I've seen it before, but wasn't really sure. To bed then before ten.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco 2018 Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
