That

Thursday Seem to have gotten to sleep early enough after ten last night, if I remember properly. Correctly. Awoke again at a quarter to six to listen to the usual news programs before setting out to drive to the Lakeshore ATM and then back over the hill to the restaurant, parking, feeding the meter and then settling in at my table on the patio, I the only diner there this morning when I eventually finished. Not good unless their take out orders were doing well which, for the time I was there, they weren't.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee again, still watching the weight, finishing up be ten after nine to walk to the car, take the picture of the succulent and set off straight for home, taking the selfie and settling in here at the computer. Nice sunny day with the temperature decent early on, but hitting a high of eighty later, the weather people worried about wind and low humidity and the chance of more fires later this weekend.

Later. Called the storage shed office and indeed someone was there on site to open the gate and so I got into the car and drove to Alameda to enter the storage area, find my unit and go through the contents. Took an hour. Many, many boxes, finally finding the one I was looking for at the very back of the unit at the bottom of the pile.

OK, back into the car, the gate code now in hand, to drive home and go through the one box I'd loaded into the car. Found two of the items I'd been thinking I'd like to have, but didn't find the magazines that had gotten me out the door in the first place. Tired. We'll go through them in more detail when we're clearer headed tomorrow.

Evening. The presidential debate. I watched it through. A long day got even longer.

Stayed up to watch Vera. I'd seen it before, didn't remember who'd done the deed until just before it was revealed. It finished at nine-thirty and so straight to bed. A long day, but a productive day, must remember that.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco 2018 Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
