Night

Friday Lights out by ten, but a miserable time getting to sleep - in and out, in and out - to awaken at ten minutes to six to listen to the KPFA news followed by Democracy Now! and its analysis of last night's debate. Seemed cold out there and so added a long sleeved turtleneck pull-over to the shirt and winter jacket, quite happy I had done so while walking to breakfast, arriving to find their dining room open.

Looked nice with the new floor, but decided to continue to sit outside on the patio. No one was sitting in the dining room, I was the first to arrive, but who knows how it will go even with limited seating and distancing in an enclosed space?

The chicken-apple sausage, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for the first time in a while, finishing up just after nine to walk back home under a mix of clouds and sun. Makes for interesting photo exposures.

A four cent rise in the price of regular this morning, the first change in over a month, not that it means anything other than taking another photograph. The temperature still cool walking along Grand to the apartment to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer to start on this. After last night I'm thinking maybe a nap. So far, so good, but it's now noon when things usually, after a night like last night, fall apart.

Later. An hour's nap to then get up and look for two things I've somehow misplaced/lost in this apartment mess this last year, the head at least halfway clear. Watched the news with some pain, given how much of it was a recap of last night's debate. Interesting to see how irritated I get listening to Trump's monologues. Always turned him off if I happened to stumble across him during his television career, but, well, here I am falling into complaining about this current politics pit.

Evening. Watched the first ten minutes of Inspector Morse before quitting and heading for bed. Nothing really worth watching on the tablet these last several days and so lights out before ten. Maybe we'll get a better night's sleep this night.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco 2018 Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
