Adventure
Thursday. To breakfast at the usual place, back now, the sky overcast, the temperature cool, the day ahead. A plan to meet with some of the usual crew in the late afternoon for beverages. Tomorrow a plan to attend an A's game at the Oakland coliseum, my first baseball game in perhaps twenty years, the product of two skybox tickets given to me by my waitress at the café this morning. Two tickets given to her by another customer that she can't use, a fellow who evidently gets all kinds of tickets to all kinds of events in the course of whatever he does for a living. So it will get me out of the house and into a skybox for a baseball game Friday evening. I've never been in a skybox before, I wonder if I should bring a camera? My, my. Adventure.
