Bed

Sunday. To sleep soon enough, I'm guessing, to do the usual wake up at four to take a leak, then back to sleep to awaken then just before six to take the blood pressure, take a double dose of the blood pressure med again and listen to TCU Radio with some interest before getting up and driving to breakfast, entering the restaurant to turn on the lights in the indoor dining area and settle in with the papers. More than a few other diners arrived to sit in the indoor dining area this time before I was finished. The sky is clear, they're saying there's some smoke in the air, although I can't really smell it, and the weather people are saying it will get up into the high seventies later.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, for no particular reason, still a couple of pounds under the one fifty-five target on the scale this morning, finishing up after nine to walk to the car parked in front of the restaurant on this no parking ticket Sunday and drive straight home to take the selfie in the lobby, take the blood pressure to find it normal and then sit down at the computer to finish yesterday's evening section of the entry before posting, process the morning's few pictures and start here. A Spare the Air day today and tomorrow, I suspect I won't be going outside.

You never do anyway.

True, but on a Spare the Air day I have a better reason to hide behind.

Later. They're saying a high of seventy-eight this afternoon, although it's not been that bad in here. Watched quite a bit of the FedEx Cup, the first place winner receiving fifteen million dollars, the second place winner receiving five. Hmm. The 30th place finisher received $395,000. Seems like a tournament you might want to play in if you're a golfer.

Otherwise relatively clear headed. Watched the first thirty minutes of the Metropolitan Opera broadcast of Cendrillon that started at noon wondering what it might be like, an opera I'd not heard of before. Interesting. A movie musical version of Cinderella was released on Amazon Prime this month and I'm thinking of starting it later.

That's pretty much been the afternoon. Again, the head is clear, the blood pressure is behaving (mostly) and I'm thinking about what I might have for dinner.

Evening. Nothing on television and so to bed and the tablet, turning whatever it was I was watching not long after nine. Nothing I usually want to listen on the radio on Sunday nights either, so lights out before ten with the fan comfortably running at the foot of the bed.

The photo up top was taken at the 2015 San Francisco Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
