Well

Tuesday. Lights out early again, just before nine, to awaken at just before six to take the blood pressure (112/72, 124/69, 121/73) and listen to Democracy Now! before walking to breakfast under clear skies. Arrived to enter the indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers feeling reasonably clear headed and ready for a better day.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, the weight just over the one fifty-five target on the scale this morning, finishing up not long after nine to set out for home, none of the wobbly walking experienced yesterday morning when I learned the blood pressure was way down.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby before settling in at the computer and taking another series of blood pressure readings. They were OK. The usual finish yesterday's entry, post, process the morning pictures and start here.

Later. Watched a movie on the tablet, took breaks to listen to the various news programs that start at two and that's been the afternoon.

Evening. Watched the first four innings or so of the Seattle Mariners-Boston Red Sox game before breaking at eight to listen to the first results of the Newsom recall election to hear he'd avoided recall with a vote margin running almost two to one in his favor. Good. Turned the radio and the lights off just after nine to see if we couldn't get to sleep early again. Didn't turn out well.

The photo up top was taken at the 2015 Oakland Art & Soul Festival yesterday with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
