Then Check Again
Sunday. I bailed on House not long after nine and seem to have gotten in a good night's sleep, awakening without the alarm at seven-thirty. Now that I'm back from breakfast (on a clear sunny day) I think I'll take a nap to prepare for the How Weird Street Faire that's coming up starting at noon in San Francisco. Best to be ready.

Later. I did take a nap, got in a good hour of actual sleep, awakening to get up and catch the twelve o'clock bus to BART and then under the bay to the Montgomery Street station. It's a short walk then down 2nd to Howard Street and the entrance to the Faire.

A good two hours plus shooting, taking a twenty minute break to eat a light lunch at a sushi restaurant, the day more than warm enough in a long sleeved t-shirt. A decent number of usable pictures, three twenty plus sections I'd think. I need to talk to myself, now that I'm back at the apartment, into taking a break, watch some T.V. and particularly practice guitar. Tired, but clear headed, feeling pretty good.

Evening. So. Too much time working on the pictures (we'll see if we can get them done tomorrow) and not enough time on the guitar, so I went to bed just after nine. Tired. And I ate some sharp cheddar cheese spread over crackers in the late afternoon, early evening, that I'd picked up at the supermarket on the way home from breakfast this morning. Just the slightest hint of ocular stuff, so to bed early.

Why did you do that?

Because some things you need to check and check and then check again.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco How Weird Street Faire today with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm
f 2.8G VR II Nikkor lens.
