Nine

Thursday. The uncomfortable, but still functional, “sprained” right wrist rapidly became worse early yesterday evening, driving me to bed to try of find a way to rest the arm and wrist to reduce the pain and allow some semblance of sleep. It was a long night, double doses of pain meds or not, but awoke to find the wrist in better shape. I hadn't been thinking I'd be able to walk or drive to breakfast if it had remained anywhere close to where it had been during the night, but it was indeed better and so walked to breakfast on a clear and reasonably warm morning, the restaurant was open when I arrived.

So good.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup (sliced bananas today) and coffee for breakfast, finishing up by eight-thirty to head on home with a wide angle lens on the camera this time, taking a picture of a single pandorea flower blooming for the first time in months in front of the restaurant. More pictures along with a selfie in the apartment house lobby.

Able to type and so edited yesterday's entry before posting, but we'll treat the wrist with a great deal more care today, we will.

Later. The hand is much better. Good. Don't want to go through that again (cross fingers).

They're saying it reached eighty degrees today, although I can't say, not having gone outside. Ah well, we're recuperating and taking pleasure in moving the hands and fingers without wincing.

Evening. Nothing on television and not much interest in the tablet either and so lights out not that long after nine.

The photo up top was taken a the 2018 Saint Stupid's Day Parade with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 Nikkor VR lens.
