Bed

Friday. Lights out early to awaken at six-fifteen, a decent night's rest the thought, getting up and heading out to breakfast under reasonably clear skies on a warm summer morning. They're saying we won't hit the eighty degrees we managed yesterday, but warm enough as far as I'm concerned. The restaurant up and running when I arrived.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee after putting on a few pounds after last weekends run by the supermarket (we tend to overdo what we purchase at the supermarket), finishing up by eight-thirty and setting out for home, the lone pandorea flower no longer in evidence, but taking the usual pictures along the way to include one of a Mercedes that I'd passed by weeks ago under the 580 overpass and now finds itself parked by a meter on Grand much closer to my apartment.

Skipped the selfie when I found the apartment house lobby filled with workmen when I arrived and so up to do little or nothing to yesterday's meager entry before posting. Nothing on the to do list this Good Friday.

Later. So much for thinking I'd gotten a good night's sleep as I crashed and took a nap until around noon, getting up finally to walk to the construction site just up my street and discover they'd chopped down the grass in front and a surveyor was setting up his equipment at the base of the building. Construction starting soon? One of the neighbors said the apartment/condominium units would have parking at the current grass level and the cars would park using an elevator to move them down from my street. Be interesting to see.

Evening. Another nap later in the afternoon, gave up on television by eight and went to bed.

The photo up top was taken a the 2018 Saint Stupid's Day Parade with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 Nikkor VR lens.
