Eleven

Thursday. To sleep by eleven to awaken at ten minutes to six. Good. Up to drive to breakfast and arrive at fifteen minutes to eight, the restaurant open and so back into the blocked off dining area to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers to have half a dozen policemen show up to settle in at the back of the dining room for breakfast. Something different for this settle in place morning, feeling a little better about bending the rules and a little worse for exposure to possible infection.

Had the one pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up by nine-fifteen and heading for the car to drive home, the automatic door repair truck blocking the entrance to the garage as the workman was repairing the entry door key box when I arrived. OK, waited as he moved his truck, entered the garage, took the selfie in the lobby and settled in at the computer.

Later. Posted yesterday's entry and crapped out for a couple of hours, lying down on the bed and dozing off as best I could. This after what I called a good night's sleep. Even got some of the ocular migraine sparkling blob when I closed my eyes, something that hasn't happened now in months.

Took a walk down to the now completed garage key entry box and took a picture if only to breathe some outside air, returning to listen to the BBC News on television. An afternoon of time on the tablet, taking a nap and going out to take a picture. Sounds like what you see people describing on Facebook anymore.

Evening. Stayed up to watch Vera at eight and managed to watch it straight through, having the same trouble making out the accents at critical points and missing much of the plot as it evolved. The accents and my television set's audio, I can hear it much better when watching an episode on the tablet. To bed then with lights out before eleven.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 Saint Stupid's Day Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
